SCHOOL CERTIFICATION (RANK) REQUIREMENTS

In our school there are: 5 student ranks, 3 technique master ranks, 5 higher master ranks that are given for School development services:

5 kuy – yellow belt:

  1. Basic techniques
  2. 12 simulated combat situations (SCS). 2 min. each against one opponent are performed on different days:
  3. Circle (3 min. SCS against three opponents, attacking by turn):
  4. General physical training (4 circles continuously):

4 kuy – orange belt:

  1. Basic techniques
  2. 20 SCS. 2 min. each against one opponent, performed on different days:
  3. Circle (4 min. SCS against 4 opponents, attacking by turn):
  4. General physical training: 20 jerks of 2 weights (24 kg each) in standing position not taking into consideration the weight of a sportsman

3 kuy – green belt:

  1. Basic techniques
  2. Personal complex – 30 standard SCS, utilizing no more than 3 techniques
  3. 20 SCS (2 min. each against 1 opponent):
  4. Circle (4 min. SCS against 4 opponents, attacking by turn):
  5. General and special physical training (exercise jerk and snatch with 2 weights - 24 kg each):
  6. TAMESI-VARI. Breaking 2 pine planks (12" X 16" X 1") by hand

2 kuy – dark blue belt

  1. Basic techniques
  2. Personal complex
  3. 40 SCS (2min. each against 1 opponent):
  4. Circle (4 min. SCS against 4 opponents, attacking by turn):
  5. 3 min. SCS against 3 opponents
  6. General physical and special training (not taking into consideration the weight of sportsman). 1 press of 120 kg weights and jerk of 2 weights (32 kg each) from lying position on the floor:
  7. TAMESI-VARI (breaking 3 pine planks 12" X 16" X 1" by hand, two assistants holding the planks, carried out just after SCS)

  1. Basic techniques
  2. Personal complex
  3. 40 SCS (2 min. each) against 1 opponent:
  4. Circle (4 min. SCS against 4 opponents, attacking by turn):
  5. 5 min. SCS against 3 opponents
  6. General and special physical training (not taking into account the weight of a sportsman) – 1 press of 140 kg weights and jerk of 2 weights (32 kg each) in lying position on the floor:
